About Us

Greetings,

There comes a day of decision when your children leave the nest and you as the stay-at-home Mother begin to wonder?  Without any of them to nurture, how do I keep myself busy, motivated and fulfilled?  For me, that year of personal challenge was in 1984.  When I picked up an artist's paint brush in a community college classroom (Orange Coast College) in Costa Mesa California thus began a serious effort to become an oil artist and hopefully someday -- I would be capable of creating something to be very proud of.

Since that day, 24  years ago, it was and has been a challenging journey, and after much study, training and experience -- my new career path would transition into a professional art career.   What a joy it is to create a variety of compositions in oils and then sell them.  The notion that someone likes your artwork well enough to purchase one or two at a time -- provides a "heartfelt rush" for any professional artist, and that's the exciting part of it all.

After raising a family, my husband Jerry, a retired L.A. City Fire Captain and I left Huntington Beach CA and relocated to the Central Coast of California in 1988.  Where we have lived ever since on 2 and 1/2 acres of blissful canyon splendor in Corbett Canyon -- a mile and one-half from the historic Village of Arroyo Grande and California State Highway 101.

       Our Business

I've designed a plan to be competitive and flexible while attracting a broad spectrum of art enthusiasts.  Clients, men and women who love and appreciate the eye-appealing depth, texture and glamour of my compositions and the historical value of fine art compositions in oil.

To showcase a painting in any decor, I suggest you place it in the glow of natrual sunshine or under a controlled light and it just sparkles with life.  That's the viewing pleasure associated with oil paintings.

Call it an investment, a private love affair.  Somthing very personal and uplifting that motivates a client to purchase art.  The value of what we sell is designed to provide something for everyone from a pack of greeting cards for $10.00 at a weekly art-show venue to a $1,000. 30x40 "Bishop Peak" landscape comission.  For our clients we provide affordable art and the passionate collector of art realizes they are getting a great bargain in the price we charge.
